Aleisha Beckum, MBA, CGMS, is the CEO of uMorphos specializing in governmental and nonprofit financial strategy. She brings over 18 years of experience advising state and local governments, nonprofits, tribal nations, and healthcare organizations on grants management, compliance with 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance), and financial oversight.
She has managed more than $22 billion in public funds and has led the development and negotiation of over 500 cost allocation plans and indirect cost rate proposals, resulting in the recovery of more than $2.3 billion in allowable federal reimbursements. Her work spans the full grant lifecycle, including pre-award advisory, post-award compliance, financial monitoring, subrecipient oversight, reporting, and audit readiness.
Aleisha is known for identifying structural gaps that suppress funding recovery and for implementing practical, scalable solutions that align compliance with financial performance. She specializes in integrating grants management into core financial operations, enabling organizations to move from reactive, fragmented environments to structured, audit-ready systems that sustain long-term performance.
